Results
Ye Found Yer Lost Treasure! Way to Go
Congrats to the Corning Crew who sailed away with
the Championship--in two categories-- most trips and most
employees who made a habit of using alternatives to
driving alone. And the Army Corps of Engineers won
the Pirates' Life Fer Us Prize, showing all the
landlubbers how to use alternatives for other trips that
are necessary parts of the routine of our daily lives.
All together
11 teams, plus the public, joined Capt. Carpool and his crewmates--Barnacle Billy the Cycler, Transit Me Timbers, Iron Legs Walker, and the
irrepressible Breezy Betsy--to complete 4,468 trips as they recovered lost treasure.
And 31,894 miles saved, almost $7,700 in
commuting costs, and 26,902 pounds of greenhouse gasses
not dumped into our area's atmosphere. View our bodacious
